Unravel Knitting Fesitval
Last weekend I took part in Unravel a festival of knitting at the Farnham Maltings. The bag I created for the event sold out on the first day, I will be getting more which you can now pre-order on my online shop. I loved the knitted balloons created by Laura Bragg floating over the bridge and the adorable sheep and lambs greeting visitors at the entrance. I managed to take a few photos of my stand with the lovely exposed brick work behind before the event started. I met lots of lovely knitters including Jeanette Sloan who creates wonderful knitting patterns and natural fibre yarns pictured above. I also loved seeing the lady knitting next to the resident cat that lives at the Maltings. My new friend Georgie took a sneaky photo of me and Bartholomew at the end of the weekend, we did our best to colour coordinate!

Unravel
This coming weekend I will be taking part in Unravel, a festival of knitting sponsored by Selvedge Magazine and Interknit Cafe. It looks to be a fabulous event with a fashion show, workshops, and a wonderful woollen wonderland market. There will also be live sheep to welcome visitors at the entrance! I was asked to create a bag for the event (see above). It will be sold for the first time at Unravel and there will only be a limited number available. It took me months to get the colours just right and I am now very pleased with the outcome. It is a beautiful white calico bag and is printed on both sides, perfect for taking out and about! I look forward to seeing you at Unravel if you can make it!
